"The mission of the Blue Angels is to enhance Navy recruiting, and credibly represent Navy and Marine Corps aviation to the United States and its Armed Forces to America and other countries as international ambassadors of good will." 2012 marks the 66th Anniversary of the Blue Angels. The open house event is their way of thanking everyone for continued support throughout the year.

It was beautiful day for an air show! We were wowed by 15 demonstrations including planes, sky divers, helicopters, and even a truck! So take a glimpse of what we saw:
