I didn't see the sunrise at the beach this morning. It was chilly with 45 degrees and I couldn't drag myself out of a warm bed, electric blanket! ( It's after midnight so the date shows as Tuesday).
Today was a "get to know the town" day as we drove around Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. We discovered we will be able to bike to the library and recreation center in both towns. We have to decide which one we might join for the two months we are here. Reasonable prices make it very inviting. Many of the activities don't start until January. We were told to search the local papers for ideas and found there are many to choose from!
We took an afternoon bike ride on the trail system and determined there are 23 miles of trails. My goal is to be riding the loop twice for a longer ride by December. Phil can do this already so I have my work cut out for me.
Here are a few pictures from the last two days:
| Interesting designs on a windy day |
| The sea turtles were nesting a month ago until a storm came through and destroyed all of them. |

| Sunrise on Sunday |
| You can't see the legs moving but this crab was alive |
| After our bike ride we drove over the pier just in time to get a peek of the setting sun. |
| The flags were still blowing as the sun set. |
