Park City, Utah

On January 18th we flew to Salt Lake City, drove to Park City, and spend four days enjoying the area with Mark.  He is working at Black Tie Skies for the winter season.

Mark will be renting a house in Toll Booth Canyon, just outside of Park City.  He moved in after our trip but we were able to see the house.  We drove four miles up the mountain for a visit.  After a tour of the house, we put on the snow shoes and departed from his back door.  With a big blue sky the views were amazing.  He is fortunate to have these beautiful woods for back country skiing and snow shoeing.

Almost to the top!

Heading down to the house

Phil and Chris spend two days skiing with Mark at the "Canyons".  The last time they had skied was 15 years ago in MI.  It had snowed the night we arrived so there was 6 inches of new snow for their first day.

Wonder when we will all be together again?
