Greetings to everyone,
We have been waiting a long time for this trip and so much planning on Phil's part but the departure day is almost here!!
We leave Monday July 22 for
an 8-10 week RV trip to the west coast. This trip will fulfill Phil's bucket list to visit
the Redwood, Sequoia, and Yosemite National Parks. The high point of this trip
will be to see our son Mark who lives in Montgomery Creek, CA. We will see his
property, meet his friends for the first time, and explore the area around Mt
Shasta. We will be camping at his place and helping him, oh yes there will be
work for us, as we stay for 3 weeks!
This year a friend will be staying
in our house while we travel. Chris will be around if needed except for a week
in mid August when he flies out to CA (yea!). Mark will pick him up from the
Redding airport and drive over to Redwood Nat'l Park. We'll explore together
for several days and then back to Mark's. It will a very special time.
You are all invited to follow us on this trip. Our first stop will be
at Medicine Bow National Forest near Laramie, WY. We will be there on July 25th
for three days. Then we head out to ID, Mt Rainer, Mt St Helens, drive the Oregon coast, and finally into CA.
Hopefully I will have good internet connection for blogging post! Enjoy the rest of
summer, we know we will!
