We left Brownsville, TX on Feb 25th and drove up the coast to Port Aransas. The condo was a 14 story building located on the beach. The beach was great for walking and cars could drive on the sand. We spend yet another day at a bird sanctuary. On Sunday the weather changed and the fog and wind rolled in. We both were ready to head home and made the decision to leave early as the forecast was not good for the remainder of the week. As we drove northeast out of TX, the fog hung around for 3 1/2 hrs! Amazing.
It was a good trip but it is always good to be home!
Our next trip will be following Mark with the RV on his bicycle adventure as he travels through LA, AL, and the final leg to the beach on St. Augustine, FL. Phil may do so riding with him during the day. The current plan is to leave the first week of April and we think we could be gone a month. Very excited for this upcoming trip!
