We are camped at Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora, CO. This evening we drove to Thornton, CO and had dinner with my cousin Art Timm and his wife Sherry. We had seen them last about 4 years ago. Art had been fishing in WY and caught some Rainbow Trout. Sherry is a great cook and she served us one outstanding meal. The trout was soooo good as was the rest of the meal. Then dessert was chocolate cake topped with red raspberries from their yard. We had such a good time visiting with them
On Thursday we drove to Boulder and hike an area called Chataqua Park. It was a challening hike and we were on the trail for 6 hours. But after 2 days in the car, we enjoyed the activity.
Tomorrow we leave for Granby and Snow Mt Ranch for the wedding.
